Frequently Asked Questions
How does SportDNA help coaches understand their team?
Each athlete takes the free 10-minute SportDNA assessment, which places them on four pillars (Drive, Competitive Style, Cognitive Approach and Social Style) and one of 16 athletic sport profiles. Your squad dashboard shows the whole group side by side, so you can see how each athlete is wired before you plan training.
How does a free squad session work?
Sign in, name your group and you get a session code in about thirty seconds. Share the link with your athletes; they add a first name and last initial and take the assessment on their phones. Results appear on your squad dashboard as they finish. There is no purchase and no seats to count.
What is in the group debrief?
The $29 PDF covers your squad's sport profile composition, pillar tilt, three coaching notes backed by numbers from your group, a roles-and-leadership section, and one page per athlete. The $99 option adds a 30-minute call with Vladimir Novkov, M.A., including how specific pairs of athletes are likely to work together.
What do athletes share, and how is their data handled?
Athletes are asked for a first name and last initial only, because many squads include minors. Assessment data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains how to request access or deletion.
Is SportDNA a clinical or selection tool?
No. SportDNA describes how athletes approach training and competition; it is not a clinical diagnosis and should not be the only basis for selection decisions. Vladimir Novkov is not a licensed clinical psychologist, so please refer any mental-health concern to a qualified professional.
Run it with your group, free
Create a squad session, share one code, and every athlete gets their SportDNA type. You see the whole group on one dashboard, at no cost.
- Sign in (a free account keeps your sessions together) and create a squad session. It takes thirty seconds.
- Read the code out or put it on the screen. Athletes take the 10-minute assessment on their phones, no account needed.
- Watch results arrive on your squad dashboard: every type, live, plus where the group leans on each of the four pillars.
Get your group breakdown
Once your group has taken the assessment, request a written debrief. It is built from your squad's own results, then reviewed and sent personally by Vladimir Novkov, M.A.

What Athletes & Coaches Say
Real results from athletes using SportPersonalities assessments

SportPersonalities really grabbed my attention with its free Sport Personality Test. They're doing an awesome job of helping high school athletes find the right sport for their unique traits, which is super helpful for motivation and performance. Any high school athlete looking to discover their best fit in sports will...

If you love to define yourself theoretically, this is the right test for you. I took it twice and the results matched me perfectly. I could see what type of person and competitor I am according to the questions.

Finally understood why I perform better in direct competition than team settings. Knowing I'm a Gladiator helped me choose training partners who push me the right way.

The test impressed me with its depth and accuracy. It described exactly how I experience sport and competition, revealing not just traits but a full mindset and approach to training.

The results were spot on. It described my mindset and approach to sport with surprising accuracy.
